Rules of our Silent Auction:

  1. Current prices will be updated manually on a daily basis, usually before midnight. Minimum bid increment is $10.
  2. Online bidding closes on Friday, March 31st, at 11:59pm, and will continue at the event the following evening..
  3. If two bids have the same value, the first one received will take precedence
  4. When you place a bid, you can enter the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for the item and we will automatically increase your bid as necessary. We will bid only as much as necessary to make sure that you remain the high bidder, up to your maximum amount. For example:
    • The starting bid for an item is $50. Tom places a maximum bid of $70. The current price is now $60.
    • Laura views the item and places a maximum bid of $120. Laura becomes the high bidder and the current bid is $80 ($10 above Tom’s max).
    • If Tom bids for $100, automatic bidding will keep Laura the highest bidder and the current bid will be $110.
  5. If your maximum value is not met at the end of the auction, you will be given the option to donate the remaining to the Friends of the MFN.
